It should be a really great read - unless the translator messed it up.

Silverberg's "Lord Valentine's Castle". To have it signed by the author himself (he came to Poland last week).

Just bought "The Almost Moon" by Alice Sebold (quite liked 'The Lovely Bones') on audio book to listen to whilst I was in Germany (you can only get Radio 5 as far as Antwerp!) and have seldom been guilty of a bigger waste of money- rubbish story, poorly read - I'm almost embarassed to give it to the charity shop! Shocked

Charlaine Harris - Dead and Gone.
Mark Chadbourne - The Destroyer of Worlds
Kelley Armstrong - The Awakening

A couple of crochet books for my sister and half a dozen children's books for the destroyer of books that is my youngest son. He chews a lot.

Very good book but also sad and depressing (at least for me). "Lavondyss" even more so.

I'm getting a copy of 'Avillion' sent over so I thought I'd give 'Mythago Wood' a go before I read that.

I'm not sure I like the sound of sad and depressing though. I'll end up crying and having to pretend that there's dust in my eye... or something... Embarassed
