When I said unintelligent I meant me! And it seems we have the same number of qualifications
My favourite remained Jhered throughout, though Iliev did come very close, as did Vasselis (again).
I liked how we got to see the more personal Jhered as well as the career soldier. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Yeah, I thought Vasselis handled himself well throughout and you couldn't help but like Jhered especially, as you say, we saw more of his personal side.
To be truthful, with the exception of Gorian, there's not a lot to choose between them, they all had their plusses and minuses though Dina Kell is still the only one who really floats my boat! _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |

Anyone get the feeling that Jovial likes Dina? Should be careful, people will start accusing you of being as bad as I was with Selik. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Dina was pretty cool, and her last scenes were pretty well written, which I think adds to her 'cool points'. Kashilli and Iliev are near the top of my list because of their all action, relentless styles.
I thought that Roberto came across more in this book than Paul, who I think stole the story in book one. He (Paul) is still a great character and I agree that his personal side was good to see. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Kashilli definitely. With him standing on the edge of the fountain daring a crowd to attack him. Now that's pure cool on a stick. Kind of reminded me of Jack Sparrow for a bit. Iliev a close 2nd though. For that one scene. _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? well i loved the idea of Iliev from the first book, was great to see him work his way up the ranks in the second, Kashilli did come a very very close second though ! |
