Not sure if anyone has posted this anywhere but i got the email from gollancz this morning

Eastercon 2008

March 21st - 24th sees the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow host Eastercon 2008 , one of the largest gatherings of SF and Fantasy fans in the UK. Here's a list of the Gollancz authors who will be attending,

it is strange, sounds like a big event, but i dont know anyone why had heard of it before. Rolling Eyes too far for me at the mo as well.

I'd heard of it but was led to believe it was predominantly a sci-fi convention so I never really bothered with it.

I went to Eastercon in 05, when it was at Walsall. It was good fun, in a small hotel with a large bar. Unlike fantasycon they ran multiple sessions at one time (much like Derby) so it was busy and hurried but the sessions were well done.

back then it was mainly sci-fi with a bit if fantasy
