Hi all,

Just thought I'd make an appearance. I'm 1/2 way through the second book but have put it down for a while. Maybe I'll go back to it in a short while. I'm just having trouble getting into the story.

Did anyone else have the same trouble as me?

nope i flew through the 2nd book, the first one had such a huge info dump at the start it took a bit of time to get into it, but after that....pure gravy!! Very Happy

No me either, if anything I found it easier to get into the the first, but I put that down to being more familiar with the world and the people.

Yeah, stick with it Masrock, Parmenion & Lizzy are correct but I think it also has a lot to do with the fact that James just gets better and better - his best book so far without a doubt! Laughing
