Anyone ever read Mirrormask by Neil Gaiman? Or seen the movie for that matter... _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? That sounds like a great plan." |

Just read Sharpe's Tiger by Bernard Cornwell. A good read, and I've told the magic button on Amazon to bring me the next two... _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |

No, but I've yet to read a book by Neil Gaiman that wasn't really good.
Currently on The Onion Girl by Charles De Lint...excellent. If you like Mark Chadbourn's books you'll probably like this. It's more in line with The Fairy Feller's Masterstroke then his other books. _________________

Ice Station is a good trashy read. One of the better Riley books I've read (sometimes they get a little too silly). _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

My reading list is increasing!! Up to now I'm getting through my 'Age of Misrule' trilogy by Mark Chadbourn, then comes 'Children of Hurin' by Chris/JRR Tolkien, 'Chronicles of the Planeswalkers' Parts Zero and One by BT Robertson and, of course, 'Blood Lament' by Raven Dane. _________________ Pagan Music |

Just finished 'Children of Hurin' by Tolkien and am unsure what to think I personally enjoy the archaic language it is written in but to be honest, the story isn't up to much. Yes, for Tolkien afficianados such as myself it fills a few gaps but if you are ambivalent towards the man and his works then don't put this one on your 'to read' list! _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |
