I was watching Life on Mars the other night and it got me thinking back to the Sweeny (which my parents thought I was too young to watch but I did anyway) and also Tales of The Unexpected, which are being re-run on one of the digital channels. Tales looks sooooo dated now and are so badly acted I can't believe I used to think they were good
So what old favourites have people got, what would you like to see back again?
Personally I'd love more Fawlty Towers. _________________

With you on the Sweeney and Fawlty Towers
For me you'd have to include The Professionals, for years I was convinced I was Doyle and despite the 'Crossroads' scenery I was always a massive fan of Blakes Seven _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |

The Sweeney (as mentioned), The Professionals, Callan, The Saint, The Champions (have you noticed that these sort of programmes nearly always had the prefix "the".).
Comedy wise I was a big Python fan - thanks to my older brother!

Poirot. Not the ones with Peter Ustinov, nay, there was only one Poirot. You all know who I mean. _________________ Pagan Music |

lol, I got into that years ago when they started reshowing it. That and Space 1999
But yeah, pretty much any comedy from the Fawlty Towers era is good for me. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

Space 1999 was also good in a cheesy kind of way. Classic Martin Landau, that! _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

oooh, forgot to mention, 'Hancock's Half Hour'. I'm sure it was this where Kenneth Williams once ejected Tony Hancock onto the wing of an aeroplane. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |
