I haven't dared post on this thread since the start of the season! This certainly isn't the new dawn we were promised!
I don't know if we're in a relegation battle just yet (three games in?) but things do need to change and quickly. I'll be interested to see if Keane can bring anyone else in before the window closes. That's when we'll have a clearer picture about how the season will go I think. Let's give the team a chance to gel as well. It's also interesting to see who Keane wants out. Quinn, I kind of get this one as the guy isn't really getting a game; get him off the wage bill and get someone else in who can do the job. Stead and Garvan though? Really?? _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

Found this post from way back on the first page. Never thought it would happen any time soon, it's a funny old world isn't it? _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

A couple of very good signings from Sunderland yesterday. Will we now start playing properly?
What do you reckon to Leaadbitter and Edwards, Ste? _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |

I think these two could be just the kick up the rear that we need! Might be too late to get anywhere worthwhile this year though... _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

I just get the feeling that we've given ourselves a real mountain to climb when what we really needed was a flying start. I'm all pessimistic... _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

Look at Oxford last season, we lost everything....and i mean everything...
then we got a new manager and went on a run and got 52 out of 57 points available at the end of the season, he only lost his first game. we are 7 games into this season and he is still unbeaten...i hope i didnt just jinx him....bum!
ah well...but really, we ended up going from outside relegation to only missing playoffs by the fact we were deducted 5 points because of a bloomin admin mess up. |

We've finally won a game! Yay!
There's still a lot of work to be done though... _________________ Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

Oh dear lord it is dreadful. Really worried about the heart and soul of our great club. We have the players to get promotion but there seems to be no belief, no direction and no energy.
Can PJ turn it around or is he the root of the problem? _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |
