Steven Erikson's Toll the Hounds. Which I got signed. Won't be reading it for a while as this is vol 8 and I have only read four. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

Tales of Beadle the Bard
Already about a month ago, as I'm determined to finally read all the unread books I've been collecting for years _________________ The question that sometimes drives me hazy: Am I, or the others crazy?

We tell ourselves to stop buying books and comics, because we simply don't have room to keep them (living in a flat). But we still buy them. The last book I bought was "Red Seas under Red Skies" (Polish translation). And then there are a lot of books that we bought but haven't read yet. _________________

Orcs - Omnibus Edition
By Stan Nicholls
Only about 50 pages in, but enjoying it so far.
Only chose it because there was a Gemmell quote on the front... |

Rups, that's a good fun book.
Not the last book I bought as I bought it ages ago, but just received The British Invasion anthology from Cemetary Dance. _________________

Bought that a couple of years ago from the Sci-Fi book club. Think it's a pretty good read personally _________________ Yes, I'm still alive. Drop me a PM if you like |

....and another vote for the excellent Mr. Nicholls and his excellent Orcs trilogy - bought mine a couple of years ago and mine bears the tongue in cheek greeting "much better than James Barclay!" by Mr. Nicholls himself! _________________ "Constant Vigilance!" |

Thats not my car by Fiona Watts. My son is obsessed with this series.
The Shadow Queen by Anne Bishop is the last book I bought for myself. _________________ The mirror crack'd from side to side |

Can't recall the last book, but I walked past Waterstone's today and they have a 3 for 2 offer on all books! I am making my list right now!!! I was going to save my pennies unti FanCon, but I might have to dip into that pot now. I've been after Scott Lynch's second 'Gentlemen' book for ages, and I think I'll top up my Steven Erikson collection. Then there's the last two in George RR Martin's fantastic 'Song of Fire and Ice' series... Lucky it's payday tomorrow. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |
