Well, seeing as we're now about 6 weeks or so away from the release of 'Ravensoul', I thought it might just be time to start a wee thread and see if anyone's as excited as I am?

I've now read the chapter one extract which was in the fancon programme and, alas, I'm wondering if that was such a good idea. I was already itching to see the book land on my doormat but now I'm starting to drool... it's years since I last read a Raven book and the extract just has that old, familiar 'tone' to it and, once read, you cannot help but think it's setting up a bucket-load of action raven-style.

Anyone else read it yet? Eh? Eh? Has Robin had an ARC yet? Mwahahahah!

I can't wait either, it definitely has that indefinable tone of, say, Dawnthief, which is very different from the Ascendant's tone. All of which has a distinct James Barclay tone

But to reiterate, I am looking forward to Ravensoul

A chapter was released at FanCon?!?! I can't blame baby Alex for making me miss this (he can't be blamed for anything as he's just perfect), but I am slightly jealous that you're all ahead of me in the excitement stakes!!!
