As some of you may know, I've been on the cast list for a low budget Brit pic called 'The Estate' for sometime now. Finance has been the problem with getting started but we're finally underway.

Filming will be erratic because we are still looking for finance. That means no one is being paid (at the moment) and most of us have more than one job. I'll be crewing, doing various production jobs and probably helping with script on various days. It's all good fun and the sense of togetherness and determination is brilliant.

The lack of finance has not diminished the professionalism of the production and of course we'll be looking to get distribution, slots at festivals and all that once the work is done.

I'll be writing journal entries for all the days I'm on set in whatever capacity and hope to give a flavour of what film-making on a shoe-string is like, day to day.

wow id love to be involved in something like that...its just too far though...good luck
