Not sure here if anyone has already heard this or not, although I suspect you all have, but Terry Pratchett, a truly great mind in my opinion, has been diagnosed with alzhiemers. _________________ "Right so we're going to steal a bomb that can be remote detonated, take it back to our base and then huddle around it? I did here that - although in typical Pratchett style, he released a rather amusing letter saying there's still time for a few more books yet, and that, like everyone, he's going to die eventually!

Great, that he can take even this with humor. Anyway I'm quite shocked, he's one of my favourite writers . _________________ The question that sometimes drives me hazy: Am I, or the others crazy?

That sucks. Good news though is that people can live with Alzheimers for years without a huge change to their everyday life. Then again, it'd help more if the government was willing to pay for certain treatments.
I know the people in my family with it are going strong after quite some time. Let's hope that's the case for Mr. Pratchett. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |
