Most people may remember I have a problem getting MSN to work, but it appears since updating my PC I can use windows messenger.
Basically what I want to know is, does it work with MSN? In other words can I contact people on MSN via Windows messenger? _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

have you tried Windows Live Messenger the new version of MSN?
I dont know about the problems uve had but i might be able to help unless uve already tried everything and anything to get it to work _________________ "My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori." |

Added unless you don't love me anymore
This can be the ressurection of the old MSN thread, we just need a chit chat forum to move it to. _________________ Walk the dark path, sleep with angels.. |

By the forum staying the same do you mean Selik not loving me or no Chit Chat forum? _________________ Walk the dark path, sleep with angels.. |

There are enough different sections to discuss most things. The chat section of the old forum became too big and silly and a clique. A new member looking around could have found it hard to join in.
There are plenty of ways to chat to people, using IM and also the PM facility on this forum.
At the moment James wants to leave the forum as is and see how it goes.
I have passed on all the feedback to him and no doubt he will respond here if he wants to add any more.
I may suggest leaving this thread as a chat place........ _________________

At James' request the new forum was setup as an easy place for newcomers to settle into and to find information about his books.
The old forum was a strange and scary place for newbies, especially some of the welcomes, and to find information took a long time.
I'm sure James would appreciate it if we all kept his wishes in mind and reduced the unnecessary chat and kept threads on topic.
As Lizzy has already said, if you want to chit chat, wibble or have a four word story please use a social network such as MSN, MyPlace etc.
This thread will be locked if it doesn't stay on topic. _________________ Member and President of the Will Begman Appreciation Society.
