for what its worth my wife finished this series recently, and she really enjoyed it.
While she enjoyed the raven series she thought that the acendants
"was a much more mature series and ranked up there amongst some of her favorite. EG: memory sorrow and thorn, Julian may the saga of the exiles etc"
she is a tough lady to please so this is praise indeed!!  |

Why, thank you... or more accurately, thank your wife. All feedback is worth it, particularly when it buffs up my ego to a healthy dazzle.
Really glad she enjoyed it and it's always good to rank among favourites.
