ah, bum. European shoe sizes......erm... *looks at feet. Size 44 I believe would be correct. UK size 9  I know, I have big feet.

That's cool. Depending on the trainer style I sometimes have size 10. There's a reason my dad used to call me Platypus feet

Well, usually a skein of sock-yarn should last for socks at leats size 45 so this won't be necessary
And yes, I've started...now the next step will be the heels
