Easy - Fabio Capello , possibly the greatest manager I have witnessed in my lifetime _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.

I'd rather have an English manager. Capello is one of the best, has been for a long time, but I'd still someone who knows what a yorkshire pudding is! _________________ Pagan Music |

Were it Sunderland I'd say they certainly aren't playing football, that's for sure.... unfortunately, we've turned from Sunderland. _________________ "I sit on my arse, not my head." - Baron Gresse. |

I would rather (virtually) anyone else than McClaren for manager. O'Neill, Mourinho, Barry Fry ( )! McClaren has made one 'brave' (and wrong) decision by dropping Beckham, and has avoided the Lampard/Gerrard issue by moving Gerrard to the right. He is poor in front of the cameras (normally I wouldn't mind this, but he has clearly had training and uses it badly), and he makes England even duller to watch than the last few games under Sven.
Why don't we play like the Premiership? I know they're not full of English players, but we have three Premiership teams in the European Cup semis, and I would be amazed if one of them doesn't win it. It's not outrageous to claim that Redknapp, Allardyce or Warnock could do a better job. _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |

hmm, true , but with international managers they need to be in or at least one attempt to qualify for a big tornament in order to be given a fair shot, if we sack him if he doesnt qualify then fair enough , if he does then we need to see what happens , there is a thin line between success and failure, look at Bobby Robson . Although i do agree so far Mclaren has lacked any hint of international management ability . As for the Capello comments I agree yes he isnt english and it isnt ideal , but to me that simply says more about the fact that there arent that many great english managers to choose from , Allardyce and curbs are always mentioned but are they the right type of manager?, indeed have they managed on the continent and can they appreciate the international game the same way as former managers have?. _________________ I always knew Chang was Chinese Intelligence.

From, you mean taking 6pts from? Bloody mags...
Nah, I'm looking forward to the derby matches coming back. I still have fond memories of Sorensen saving Shearer's penalty... _________________ Pagan Music |

I guess it will be tough for Newcastle only being the third best team in the North East... _________________ If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. |
