James, what would your opinion be if a highly respected film directer approached you and said he wanted to make the Chronicles and Legends of the Raven into movies?
I myself would love to see the Books on the big screen, so long as you didnt let them change the storyline.
what does everyone else think about this aswell?
P.S - Sorry if this is in the wrong place but i thought it fitting since it is a question directed towards James. |

I think we'd all love to see the Raven as films. I see them very much in the style of Indiana Jones. We did discuss actors on the old forum, however a new stab at it seems a good idea to me.
Who would you cast Mark D? _________________

heh, i was thinking about this just this morning actually
i can see Vin Diesal and the Unknown i think, partly because he can play a character that keeps things inside, and partly because he is also bald
I think for Hirad there would be a need for searching for new actors, i couldnt place one on him.
I see thraun played by Arnold Scwartzeneger (sorry about the spelling), cant really explain that one.
Ill add more soon but i have to pick up my other half now _________________

LOL, Vin Diesel, prepare to duck Mark
He always seems the popular choice, must be the bald head. _________________ Member and President of the Will Begman Appreciation Society.

Arnie as Thraun?!!
For Hirad, I'd look to Dennis Storhoi. _________________ Pagan Music |

My response would be... 'Where do I sign?' So long as I can have a walk-on part in each film, of course. I'd like to havea hand in hte screenplays too but that wouldn't be any sort of deal-breaker.
It would be a dream come true and I am always working to get the books in front of people who might be able to do something... one went in the post this morning as a matter of fact to someone who is actively looking for fantasy books to bring to the (small) screen.
If there's ever any news, you lot will be the first to know as I'll be floating above all your houses scattering joy. _________________ 'A human with a hand outstretched in friendship carries the fangs of a taipan in his palm.' A TaiGethen saying. |

You're joking? I can't stand either of them! Vin Diesel can't act and Arnie is somewhat busy trying to become the next US president (and we all know what they're like!)
The idea is a good one; I'd pay to see a Raven movie. I'd try and get involved in it too, too good an oppontunity to miss!
Actor casting would probably be problematic though. _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |
