Having a bit of a halloween bash on Sunday and ive just realised im a little bit lacking in suitably halloweeny music.

Now ive got a few of the obvious ones like thriller but im just wondering what songs/artists people associate with halloween so i can get rapidly downloading. Any suggestions appreciated thanks muchly Very Happy

The soundtrack to the film "Trick or Treat" (old film 1986 i think) by a band called Fastway. great film, great music if you can get it.

Riddler - Nightwish ... love that song, just not sure why, it brings a funny feeling of nostalgia to me for no reason, it used to do it when I listened on the bus too ... *shrug* but I think it's a good halloween song.

I did a search once for halloween music and got a few midi files which were pretty good can't remember which ones though.

One you cannot forget though is the monster mash ... artist forgotten I think I have it on my woolworths account somewhere ...

woohoo, Poison by Alice Cooper. Dan, I didn't know you had taste! Wink Good choice as actually is Riddler by Nightwish. There's something very Halloween about it for some reason.

Didn't the Backstreet Boys have a song that had a kind of horror theme... Backstreet's Back or some such?

I suppose Thriller by Jacko is a possible option too...

Thriller, yeah. For the voice of the late great Vincent Price!! Very Happy

And yeah, I think everyone was scared at the prospect of Backstreet coming back.

I never liked them, I have to say. Mainly because my mam would always play them when I was little and I wanted something modern on, since I didn't have a radio of my own.
Used to hear my sister listening to stuff and get jealous cos I could only hear what my mam had.
When dad got out the RAF I got to listen to Status Quo, Meat Loaf, Pat Benetar... much better Very Happy
