A most poo performance from England. One or two players showed one or two flashes, but in 90 minutes against a Spanish side low on confidence and out of form, that's not good enough.
Nobody new played their way into the coach's thoughts, I should think, yet nobody established did anything to warrant their positions.
Excellent goal by Iniesta though, and how I wish Villa had English grandparents... _________________ Pagan Music |

This is because England are pants. A team of individuals not a team. Great for club, poor for country. Its been the same for years with the same thing happening in rugby, the players sound and look like they feel they should win not because of hard graft and team work but because they deserve to win just because they are England. |

how long is it going to take before we sack the muppet manager, too many changes, to little invention, too many players out of position....the guy is creating a mess. |

Dreadful. England's football team are something of an embarassment at the moment. Interesting to see a new goalie, though it's debatable whether he did any better than robinson would have done. _________________ Taking off is optional, landing is mandatory. |

I prefer young Ben to Robertson. He seems more secure and was one of the few players from last night to come away with any credit. He had no chance with the goal but his kicking was sound, his save was solid and he did well when Gary Neville gave him the ball under pressure from a throw-in. _________________ Pagan Music |

while im thinking about it, did Crouch happen to accidentaly sleep with the refs, Wife, Daughter or sister?
he could have been chopped down with a sword, chainsaw or kung fu kicked....no actually he was kung fu tackled at one point! and could he get a free kick or penalty? nope!! the ref just could not fathom his play and it allowed the spanish to get away with murder. |

If I were Crouch's coach I'd cut his arms off. The man cannot go up for a header without hugging and groping defenders and he gives away too many free kicks as a result. Yes, occasionally, he's unlucky - like when the Spanish defender cross-bodied him in the back last night - but the man needs to learn how to jump.
He's near 7ft tall and jumps 5'10" _________________ Pagan Music |

but at the same time players jump up into his arms and becasue he is sooooo damn tall it looks like he is climbing. Its a fact you need arms to jump, the problem is his are tooo long and catch other players, but the refs need to pay attention to whats happening often its not him jumping on them its them jumping under him. |

He doesn't jump, he leans, and has the mobility of a tree and the strength of a flower.
How many times did Puyol, who is a good 10" shorter, beat him in the air? Sorry, he should be winning everything in the air rather than hugging defenders and trying to ticjkle their bellies. _________________ Pagan Music |
